2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness

As I sit here in my warm and cozy house (the furnace is struggling in this below zero temps) I am grateful, happy, blessed and beyond words that God almighty himself looks over and protects me. I pray for those who continue to suffer in the cold weather that so many states are having these last few days. Lord bring relief! Protect them as well, from illness, physical pain, hunger, warmth, etc. Let them know Your Presence.

So I started thinking about this verse, All Scripture is breathed out by God.
I have heard the conversation in the past by many people, "the bible is just words by man."
But if we believe our faith, our Christian faith, we believe that the bible is, in its entirety, every word, breathed out by God into man to write down for the ages.
Yes, the bible has been written in many different versions, but its not like some guys at Barnes and Noble got together and said, lets write a bible.
No, when a bible gets written, lots of work goes into it.

The Bible was written over a span of 1500 years, by 40 authors. Unlike other religious writings, the Bible reads as a factual news account of real events, places, people, and dialogue. Historians and archaeologists have repeatedly confirmed its authenticity. You too can Google this information and learn for yourself. Of course, you can always find a side of the internet that agrees with your viewpoint, so, here is what I say. (The word according to Me LOL, for those who know me, you will get this joke)

When I read this verse and look at this picture (and I searched many pictures on the internet before this one spoke to me, this is what I see as Gods word Breathed out. Look at that picture!! As if God Himself blew down and just blew on those trees, bridge and water! Its SOOOO Beautiful !! Since God created the weather and everything else in the world, I believe this beautiful picture IS Gods breath! Everything He touches is beautiful, even cold weather and snow!

If you are anywhere in the Midwest and even some of our Southern states, you have seen pictures like this one. Maybe you have a backyard that looks beautiful right now, with snow covering its sleeping grass. Think of God himself. Think of Him taking a big breath and just exhaling! I think it would look just like this picture.

And so too is the bible breathed out of God Himself, into words that man was blessed to hear and write down and pass on for years and years and years. That is what I believe, that is what has touched me today......the breath of God Himself.

Be blessed by The One who created you, the snow, the trees, the sleeping grass, and feel his breath in your life!
